Three ways to lower the temperature on worry
Have you ever worried? And then, have you worried about why you couldn’t stop worrying?
If you answered, “Yes!” me too!
I used to think there was something wrong with me. I’d read articles where the authors would share how they rid themselves of worry. And yet, regardless of what I’d try, worry would still plop its big butt in the passenger seat and come along for the ride. Did I miss out on some worry-be-gone gene?
I’d worry about things like;
- losing friends
- people not liking me
- what others thought
- money, making it, and then saving it.
While I’ve gotten much better about not worrying so much (and about so many things), I still worry. And thanks to worry, I’ve discovered three “things” that help me to manage it better.
WHY WE WORRY
Before I dive into those three things, I think it’s important to share that we’ll never be completely worry-free. And before the understandable groans erupt, let me explain why.
